The red elongated fruit is crisp, sweet and great for fresh eating. Developed by the late Dr. Ralph Shay at Oregon State University from a planting at Purdue.

A scab immune and mildew resistant apple that each year provides a heavy crop at Raintree midseason, in late September, on a sturdy, well-branched tree. On EMLA 26 dwarf rootstock
